Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat on Queen Margaret’s Grove, Islington.

A small section of a first floor flat was damaged by fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued one woman. She was assessed at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews.

The Brigade was called at 2340 and the fire was under control at 0007. Fire crews from Islington and Stoke Newington fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
