Do you know who this woman is?

Officers investigating a threatening public order incident on the Central Line in London are looking to speak with her in connection.

Between 5.30pm and 6pm on 18 July, a woman joined an westbound service at Bank station with her baby in a pram. As they boarded the packed train, the young child accidentally kicked another woman who was also boarding.

This woman immediately became abusive to the mother, demanding the mother to apologise in an aggressive and threatening manner. Other passengers intervened to calm the situation, however the woman then intimated that she had a knife in her bag.

At St Pauls station, a member of staff witnessed the altercation and helped move the mother and child off the train and away from the woman. This was a frightening ordeal for the family who were shaken by this woman’s aggressive language.

The suspect stayed on the train where she continued to verbally abuse other witnesses who had helped the mother.

Officers believe the woman in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate.
