Police have arrested a 66 year old man who was preparing a souvla in connection with forest fire at Milikouri in Cyprus

A 66 year old man has been arrested in connection with the forest fire in Milikouri in the Nicosia area in Cyprus there have been reports that he was preparing to cook a souvla and allegedly was the cause of the fire.

The fire brigade was notified about the fire at 1.20 pm yesterday afternoon and was under control by the evening.
