25 year old man dies in Barnet crash
Detectives from the Met’s Road and Transport Policing Command are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Barnet.
Police were called at approximately 15:57hrs on Wednesday, 8 August to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a van on Falloden Way, NW11.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene at 16:32hrs.
Officers are in the process of tracing his next of kin.
The driver of the van [no further details] was arrested at the scene on suspicion of death by careless driving and also failing to appear at court for an unrelated matter. He is currently in custody at a north London police station.
