Police investigating a rape in Finsbury Park have made two arrests.

Detectives were appealing for the whereabouts of two males in connection with the incident which happened between 23:00hrs on Saturday, 23 September and 01:00hrs the following morning.

Two men have now handed themselves in.

The first man [A], aged 32, presented himself at a north London police station on Tuesday, 12 December.

The second man [B], also aged 32, presented himself at a south London police station on Wednesday, 13 December.

Both were arrested on suspicion of rape and have since been released under investigation.

Enquiries continue.
