New Salamis 3 Omonia 1

New Salamis retain their top position in the first division by beating Omonia 3-1 but it was no easy task Omonia took the lead in the 15th minute with Yves Regis Zady and seem to get hold of the game but the reds were not going to have it and struck in the 33rd and 37th minute with two goals from Andre and a further goal in the 70th minute with back to form Kyri Portou.

Anorthosis 6 Achna 1

The Challenge Cup ties on Sunday were all first division versus second division teams and second division Achna had a difficult task against second in the table in the first division Anorthosis who just took Achna by storm and scored six goals.

Komi Kebir 2 Apoel 0

Second division Komi Kebir took the game from the scruff of the neck from the very start to beat first division Apoel  they scored early on with Dillan latching onto a Kyri through ball to score.

From then on Apoel chased the game and Komi  Kebir stayed tight at the back and tried to counter attack and catch Apoel on the break. And thats what they did late in the match after a great save by the Komi Kebir keeper to keep Apoel At bay a cross from Sami found Dillan who scored to give Komi Kebir a well fought win.

Asha 1 Livadia 8

After two defeats on the trot Livadia got back to winning ways and beat second division team Asha who never really had a chance in this game.

Livadia are not back to full strength but back from injury Samir Aalit scored the first goal from a Peter Panayiotou cross and were 4-0 up at half time with three further goals from Ali Girtli, Andrea Kyprianou and Luke Prokopiou.

Straight from the kick off Luke Procopiou added a second when he blasted the ball into the top corner of the net. Then another two goals from Andreas Kyprianou to complete his hat trick and Ali Giritli getting his second goal of the game making it 8-0 and towards the end Chris Spyrou scored for Asha to make 8-1 final score.

Third Round

Panathinaikos 4 Green Street 1

New team to the KOPA League Panathinaikos are having an exceptional start and are performing well in the LFA Cup they were leading 2-0 with Jordan scoring both goals, Green Street came back to 2-1 but then Panathinaikos added a third a hat trick for Jordan and Nick Michael added a fourth to make it 4-1 Panathinaikos and into the 4th round.
