Police investigating a theft in Potters Bar have released an image of a man they would like to speak to for help with their enquiries.

On Friday, December 22, representatives from the Rotary Club were holding a charity collection near Tesco in Mutton Lane when a generator was stolen. The generator was strapped to a sleigh at the time and was taken between 11am and 12.10pm.

Officers would like to speak with the person pictured as he may have been in the area at the time and could have information which would assist the investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact the Potters Bar and Shenley Safer Neighbourhood Team on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference J3/17/1791. You can also report information online at https://www.herts.police.uk/Report
