Detectives have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a sexual assault in Barnet.

The incident occurred on Thursday, 18 May at approximately 08:00hrs, on a Route 326 bus heading towards Barnet.

The suspect was already on the bus when the 15-year-old female victim boarded. The victim stood by the back doors of the bus and during the journey the suspect sexually assaulted her. She moved away and again he repeatedly sexually assaulted her.

The victim was planning to get off the bus when the suspect suddenly alighted at Gravel Hill.

The suspect is described as a white man, with brown hair, in his 20s or 30s.

Detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Command (RTPC) are investigating.

, said: “This incident has left a young girl feeling unsafe getting on a bus to and from school. There is a need to catch the person responsible as soon as possible as his behaviour causes great concern.

“I would urge anyone with any information on who the suspect may be, or anyone with information about the incident, to come forward and help with our investigations.”
