Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a funeral parlour in Stoke Newington High Street, N16.

Part of the funeral parlour was damaged by fire.

The Brigade was called at 2142 and the fire was under control at 2232. Fire crews from Stoke Newington, Islington and Holloway fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
