An easyJet flight from Paphos to Manchester made an emergency landing at a Turkish airport on Sunday because of a sick passenger.

According to the Turkish media, a passenger reported feeling unwell while the aircraft was in Turkish airspace, prompting the pilot to request permission for an emergency landing at Ataturk airport in Istanbul.

On landing, the man was immediately given first aid, having suffered from low blood pressure, with the same sources saying the aircraft continued its journey to Manchester, landing around two hours later than scheduled.
