We’re appealing for witnesses following an incident where two children were assaulted on board a Metropolitan Line service from Liverpool Street to Uxbridge.

At around 5.20pm on 12 November, the train was at Wembley Park when a man onboard the service shouted at two children, aged four and five.

The man was unhappy that the children, who were accompanied by their mother, had their feet on the seats. He grabbed one of the children by the ankle and the other by the knee and tried to physically remove them from the seats.

Investigating officer PC Ryan Hutchings said: “The children and their mother were left distressed after the incident and I am very keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in this particular tube carriage and may have witnessed the incident.

“If you have any information about this incident please contact 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 citing reference 84 of 28 December.”
