We are appealing for information after an assault on an underground train from Victoria to Green Park, London.

At around 10.40am on 6 November, the victim, a 51-year-old man, was travelling on the Northbound line from Victoria.

Another passenger began leaning towards him and trying to look at the victim’s notebook.

The victim asked him to stop and eventually pushed him away.

The offender then became aggressive and punched the victim in the face.

The victim sustained minor facial injuries including black eye and a cut lip.

Officers would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV image as he may have information which could help with the investigation.
