Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a collision in Regent Street.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 21:06 on Saturday, 10 December to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a bus in Regent Street at the junction with Conduit Street.

Officers attended and found 27-year-old man with a head injury. He was taken to a central London hospital where he remains in a life threatening condition.

The bus driver stopped at the scene. He was not arrested and is assisting detectives with their enquires.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.
