etectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a woman was found injured in Barnet.

Police were called at approximately 18:15hrs on Sunday, 11 December to reports of a woman injured in Kinloss Court, N3.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and the 26-year-old woman was taken to a central London hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

Detectives have established the identity of the woman and are undertaking enquiries as to how she came to receive her injuries.

At this early stage it is believed that the woman was injured at some point between 16:00hrs and shortly before she was found by a passing member of the public. Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity at the time or who witnessed anything to come forward.

Detective Chief Inspector Owain Richards, from Barnet Borough, said: “It is of paramount importance that we quickly establish the circumstances that led to this woman receiving injuries which have left her in hospital in a critical condition.

“I am appealing to anyone who has any information – no matter how small – to come forward and speak to us, the information you hold may be vital to the investigation.”

Detectives from Barnet CID are investigating.

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
