Four fire engines and around 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a shop on Grovelands Road in Tottenham yesterday afternoon (Monday).

The fire damaged part of the ground floor store but thankfully there were no injuries.

The Brigade was called at 1604 and the fire was under control by 1902. Crews from Tottenham, Stoke Newington and Walthamstow fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical fault.
