Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades has said that he had a good discussion on Monday morning with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People`s Republic of China Wang Yi, who is paying an official visit to Cyprus.

Anastasiades noted, in a post on his personal twitter account, that they discussed about the Cyprus problem, bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

An official press release issued here said that during the meeting, President Anastasiades referred to the common desire of the two countries to strengthen their bilateral relations further, mainly in the investment sector, noting also the importance of their cooperation within the framework of the One Belt One Road.

Anastasiades received the Chinese Foreign Minister at the Presidential Palace. Later on, the President and the Foreign Minister of China attended expanded talks between delegations of the two countries.
