Former KOPA football league star Les Ferdinand takes temporary charge as manager at QPR. UK Cypriot Anthony Georgiou strikes twice for Spurs to beat Man Utd in the FA Youth Cup.

KLN went on tour in Cyprus and drew with Digenis Oroklini 2-2, lost to New Salamis 2-0 and beat Ethnikos Achnas 3-2 .

All Greece games played behind closed doors following trouble at the Athens derby between Panathinaikos v Olympiakos. New Salamis become the first KOPA football league team to reach the semi finals of the FA Sunday Cup. Cetinkaya Cinar second division champions.

April

Turkish Cypriots inform FIFA over intention to join the Cypriot FA. The Cypriot national rugby team beats Hungary. KOPA league team Omonia win the LFA Sunday Trophy. Olympiakos in Greece clinches fifth consecutive league title. Cypriot owned Haringey Borough  become Essex Senior League champions to go on and play in the Ryman league.

May

New Salamis played Tripimeni in an all KOPA football league LFA challenge cup final with New Salamis victors.

New Salamis win KOPA league title. Omonia win challenge cup and Cetinkaya Cinar win division two cup in memory of Michael Tzouvanni. Apoel do the double in Greece  and Olympiakos in Greece.

Tripimeni beat Olympia to win the KOPA First Division cup. AEK youth U14 win Watford friendly league Red division.

Greek Cypriot and friends golf society raise £50,000 for Birmingham hospice. Cypriot run Edmonton Eagles amateur boxing club honoured with 2015 Queens award for services to the community.

George Avedissian former KOPA league Jigsaw manager sadly passed away. A big show at the KOPA football league AGM. St Panteleimon accepted by the clubs to join the league.

July

UK Cypriot Alex Tofalides wins European games gold as part of the Great Britain national team in foil fencing. Cyprus finalists in European nations rugby sevens cup. Karolina Pelendritou swims  to gold medal in Glasgow world paraplegic championships.

UK Cypriot James Karageorgis becomes British gymnastics champion. In Cyprus AEL beat Apoel to win Cyprus football super cup.

18 year old UK Cypriot Anthony Georgiou signs professional terms with Tottenham FC.

Pavlos Kontides earns 3rd place at Sailing World cup championships. Omonia win KOPA seven a side in memory of Nick Kyprianou.

October

Apollon v Anorthosis called off in Cyprus due to crowd trouble.

November

Thirty-two year old Memnia Theodorou makes history as the first Cypriot woman in world’s longest ocean race. England and France United as they play at Wembley days after Paris terror attack. The Koumettou family excel at British Judo championships. Former KOPA football league Omonia and Ermis goalkeeper Chris Andreou sadly dies at the age of 51.

The Koumourou family excel when school kids Luke, Leya and Danny Koumourou from Barnet competed in the British Judo Closed Nationals Championships 2015 in Kettering, Northampton.   Luke won the Bronze medal for under 50kg and Leya won the Gold medal for under 48kg.   Danny won two fights and lost two and just missed out a medal by coming 5th in the under 38kg .

In tennis Great Britain wins Davis Cup and Marcos Baghdatis returns to year end top 50. Savvas Savvides former manager of Komi Kebir sadly passed away. Omonia top the KOPA football league and St Panteleimon lead the second division. Arsenal top the Premier League. AEK top in Cyprus.
