A 23-year-old man was shot dead in Nicosia early this morning Monday.
The Police have named the victim as Tassos Georgiou a private security guard who was found shot at the entrance of a block of flats in Strovolos,Nicosia.

The police are treating the shooting as a murder and are investigating whether the incident was linked to a 2.30am car bomb explosion in Lakatamia Nicosia.
The car belonged to a 37-year-old who worked as a private security guard.
