A man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in Enfield.

Tedros Habtom Kahssay, 28 (19.01.87) of Ridge Avenue, Winchmore Hill was tonight, Sunday, 20 December, charged with murder.

He will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday, 21 December.

Officers believe they know the identity of the deceased, but formal identification has not taken place and enquiries are ongoing to trace next of kin.
