First Division

 Tripimeni-Olympia 8 Cetinkaya Cinar 1

Cetinkaya Cinar who recently had a resurgence of form just could not contain Tripimeni-Olympia who have now leapt to second place as a result of this win.

Tripimeni-Olympia were 3-0 up before Cetinkaya Cinar scored from a free kick when Omer Cimdiken banged the ball into the back of the net

A fantastic performance to end 2015 by Steve Cinotti’s team three goals coming from young George Yianni 2 goals from David Lairdi 1 from John Nicholas 1 from Evran and 1 from Lucas Kyriacou completed Tripimeni-Olympia’s scoring.

Second division

 Komi Kebir 1 -1 Arachne

In the only game in Division 2 Komi and Arachne played out a hard fought draw.

Komi started the game well and created a number of chances but poor finishing and great goalkeeping by the Arache custodian Aidan Lynch kept the scores level.

Komi final got their reward in the 16th with a fine move down the right. A cross by Geroge Syrtadiots found Jason Lambri who’s shot finally beat Lynch in the Arachne goal.

Arachne got back into the game just before half time when they were awarded a free kick just near the corner flag. The ball was floated in by Andrew Panayi and it bypassed everyone and settled in the far corner of the net.

The second half took the same pattern of the first with Komi missing a hatful of chances again due to poor finishing or great keeping by Lynch.

The game turned ugly halfway through the second half when a mass brawl resulted in Lorenzo Toumazos being given his marching orders.

Credit must be given to the referee N. Neofitou who calmed the situation down and got the game back on track.

The game ended in a draw but Komi will be the more disappointed knowing if they had put their chance away against a resilient Arachne would have got the 3 points in what is now turning into a very interesting fight for promotion.
