Detectives in Camden Borough have today, Thursday, 17 December released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to in connection with a sexual assault which took place in Kentish Town on Saturday, 5 December.

 

At around 01:45hrs that day a woman, aged in her 30s, was walking along Kentish Town Road, NW5 when a man started following her.

 

The man attempted to engage the woman in conversation in Kentish Town Road, but the woman ignored this and carried on walking.

 

After the woman turned right into Leighton Road, NW5 the man got in front of the victim and pushed her up against a parked van and sexually assaulted her.

 

As the victim attempted to get away the suspect has dragged her into a nearby garden and continued to sexually assault her.

 

When the victim then got her phone out the suspect ran off in an unknown direction.

 

Fortunately the victim was not seriously physically injured, but did suffer bruising where the suspected had held.

 

Detectives have released CCTV of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

 

He is described as white, aged approx. 20s-30s with a slim build and short brown hair and spoke with a foreign accent. He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans (with an obvious rip at the right knee) and white soled black trainers.
