APOEL suffered their second home defeat in a row this time losing 1-0 versus Apollon . This was their first win against APOEL in Nicosia in 15 years. The win moves them to 26 points just 3 points behind APOEL and 4 points behind leaders Anorthosis.

Against the run of play Apollon went ahead with a powerful striker by Guie Gneki. This was the first goal for Apollon  in 4 matches.Apollon ewho have have the best defence record this season  held on for a 4th consecutive clean sheet and a vital 3 points.

Anorthosis continued their fine form beating Enosis Neon Paralimniou 0-2 with goals late in the match from substitutes South African international Dino Ndlovu and Argentina forward Nicolas Martinez. The win puts Anorthosis top of the league after the half way point of the Cyprus 1st division regular season.

Aris Limassol eventually got a win this time Ayia Napa after having lost their previous 2 games to Omonia and Anorthosis. The win moves Aris  to 7th position with 16 points. The loss for Ayia Napa keeps them at the bottom of the table without a win in 13 matches. Aris goals came from  substitute Boniface  and Marco Aurelio.

New Salamis drew 2-2 at home with Ethnikos Achnas scorers for the reds were Makrieff and Koullys Pavlou for Ethnikos Myranda and Orekon.

AEL beat Omonia 2-1 with AEL’s goals coming in the 60th minute Sandinero then the 78th minute with a penalty from Sema and Omonia reduced the score to 2-1 with a Sheridan header.

Pafos drew with Doxa Katokopias 3-3.
