A murder investigation continues following the death of a teenager in Holloway.

Police were called at approximately 20:50hrs on Monday, 23 November to reports of a male stabbed in Yoke Close, off North Road, N7.

London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended and teenager was pronounced dead at the scene at 21:22hrs.

Although formal identification has not taken place, we are satisfied the deceased is Vasilaki Kakko, 17 (26.03.98) of Newington Green.

Next of kin has been informed.

A post-mortem examination held at Whittington Hospital Mortuary on the afternoon of Wednesday, 25 November, gave cause of death as a stab wound to the neck.

Officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command investigate and retain an open mind as to any motive at this time.
