The leaders of the two communities in Cyprus hold on Friday their fourth meeting, in the context of the first round of the UN-led intensified talks.

Two more meetings are set to take place on November 23 and 25.

President Anastasiades said after their last meeting, on November 18, that the issue of property was discussed. In statements at the Presidential Palace after returning from the old Nicosia airport where the meeting was held, President Anastasiades described the meeting as constructive and expressed hope that it will continue like this.

Today`s meeting is the fourth the two leaders are set to hold, after their decision to intensify the negotiations.

Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci have been engaged in UN-led talks since May this year, with a view to reunite the island, divided since the Turkish invasion of 1974, under a federal roof.
