Community projects worth in excess of £59,000 will be funded as part of the latest round of Enfield Residents Priority Fund (ERPF) decisions.

Last month’s meeting (November 26th) saw 16 projects, agreed by councillors. So far this year the fund has allocated £131,738

The ERPF is a £1.4 million pot of money made available by Enfield Council which residents can apply for to fund community projects in their local areas.

Last month’s meeting agreed to fund projects including:
– A programme of summer holiday fun and keep fit activities in Bury Lodge Park
– Music and education programme for young people
– Parenting club for mothers and teenage children
– Supporting local young people to produce newsletters and magazines
– A community garden in Arnos Park

Cllr Yasemin Brett, Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Organisations said “Last month’s meeting showed the wide range of projects and local groups which are going to be helped to enrich their local area all through the ERPF.

“I would urge anyone who has an idea to improve their local area to find out more about receiving funding from us”
