Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades will probably be in Cyprus by Sunday, Government Spokesman Nicos Christodoulides has told CNA.

“The President will probably be in Cyprus by Sunday”, Christodoulides said on Monday, replying to a CNA question on the matter.

President Anastasiades who successfully underwent open heart surgery in New York about two weeks ago was discharged from Mount Sinai hospital, on Sunday.

Heart surgeon George Dangas said that his post operation progress was a pleasant surprise for everyone. His heart, he added, is in an excellent condition right now and he is in very good health.
