APOEL FC of Nicosia and AEK Larnaca FC drew 4-4 in a fascinating match that wrapped up Cyprus` first division Football league matchday 13.

In a match in GSP stadium in Nicosia, that featured the highest number of goals in a single match so far, last year`s Champions maintained their lead in the standings, marking their fourth draw in the season.

Although it ended in a 4-4 draw, APOEL coach Giorgos Donis described his team’s game with AEK as “perhaps its best match.”

In Limassol`s Tsirion stadium, Apollon achieved a victory over Ermis with 3-2 and continues to pursue APOEL for the championship title.
