Officers investigating the murder of Joshua Folkes have made a further arrest.

The male, [C] aged 17, was arrested this morning (7 December) in the Clerkenwell area on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at an east London police station.

Police were called on 3 December at approximately 00:45hrs on to Bowes Road, N13 following reports of a male suffering stab wounds.

Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended. A 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene at 01:26hrs. Next of kin were informed.

He was Joshua Folkes, 17 (30.01.96). He was living in Enfield at the time of his death.

A post-mortem examination held on Tuesday, 3 December at Haringey Mortuary gave cause of death as a stab would to the chest.

The investigation is being lead by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC).

Two other people have been arrested in connection with this investigation.

[A] a girl aged 15 has been bailed to return to a north London police station pending further enquiries to a date in mid-December.

[B] a man aged 18 has been charged with murder
