Cyprus President Anastasiades has said that investments constitute the cornerstone for growth, adding that promoting investments is government’s high priority.

Anastasiades assured that the government is trying in every way to encourage growth and attract investments, while it has also announced a series of measures as giving licenses for tourist projects as hotels, casinos, golf courses etc.

He also stressed that the government will support the business community’s efforts aiming at the economy’s recovery.

We are doing what is required to restart the economy, to reform and modernize the state and to bring Cyprus back on a growth track, he underlined.

Anastasiades noted that the government has already promoted a series of tax, urban planning and other measures aiming at encouraging growth and boosting business activities, attracting local and foreign investments, maintaining the already existing jobs and creating new ones.
