Fabio Capello has been installed as the early favourite to take over at Tottenham Hotspur.

Capello has close ties with Spurs technical director Franco Baldini, whom he worked with as England manager.

Other contenders for the job at White Hart Lane include Michael Laudrup, Guus Hiddink, and Jurgen Klinsmann.
