Three Pontian Greeks are in custody after shots were fired at police during a car chase.
The car the three men were travelling in failed to stop for police in the Nicosia district village of Tseri.
During a chase, which ended in the village of Marki, several shots were fired at the police car from a shotgun.
The car was searched and found to be full of stolen property.
One of the arrested men was taken to hospital with pellet wounds.
