The Referee’s Association has strongly condemned the burning of a car belonging to one of their members. Costas Kapitanis’ car was set alight outside his house in the early hours of Saturday. The association said that it not only football that was affected but that it brought society back to the stone age. They expressed concern about the ease with which officials were being subjected to violence.
