A GUITAR, spanning ten metres and seemingly popping out of a building, was installed in the centre of Nicosia on Sunday morning.

The building will host Cyprus’ first Hard Rock Cafe, a successful chain of theme restaurants, offering casual dining across the world.

Locations include China, India, Brussels and the Cayman Islands. The restaurants display rock and roll memorabilia on their walls.

Hard Rock Cafe Nicosia has not announced an opening date yet.
