RESIDENTS are being asked to nominate people who have made a difference to their community for the council’s annual ‘Love Your Borough’ awards.

The celebration of Waltham Forest’s “heroes and heroines” takes place in April 2012.

Categories include best community group, citizen of the year, sports achievement of the year, best shop front and emergency service hero award.

Nominations close on Monday February 6.
