Armed men robbed a money transfer van on Monday morning and got away with an estimated €75,000.  According to the police report, three hooded men with guns ambushed the vehicle minutes after it collected cash from a bakery chain in Tseri at around 9.50 am.
The assailants were last spotted fleeing the scene in a black Volkswagen Golf  with licence plate XX886.
Police are appealing for anyone with information on the robbery to call the citizens line on: 1460.
