Official visit to Cuba made ​​today by the General Secretary of AKEL, Andros Kyprianou, who during his contacts expected to discuss the Cyprus issue.

In statements at Larnaca airport, Mr Kyprianou said that “the delegation traveling to Cuba was at the invitation of the Communist Party of Cuba and will have bilateral contacts with the Government and the Communist Party.”

He added that “we will be able to push the issue and to discuss issues of bilateral interest of Cuba and Cyprus, but also of our parties.”
