Agriculture Ministers of the upcoming EU Trio Presidency of Poland, Denmark and Cyprus met on June 15 in Copenhagen, discussing the main issues that will emerge throughout the 18-month Presidency, as well as the agenda of each country’s 6-month Program.

According to an official announcement, the Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment Demetris Eliades represented the Republic of Cyprus. The meeting took place just before Poland assumes the EU Presidency and is a continuation of previous meetings that took place in Warsaw and Nicosia, with the aim of determining the EU Presidency’s common 18-month Program.

The announcement adds that a briefing on CAP reform and the Common Fisheries Policy took place and that each side briefed the participants on the activities of its own 6-month Program
