| Cyprus’ unemployment rate rose by 3,3% on a monthly basis in May 2011 and by 26,6 in comparison with May 2010, according to data released on Friday by Cyprus’ Statistical Service.The unemployed persons, registered at the District Labour Offices on the last day of May 2011, reached 26.050 persons. Based on the seasonally adjusted data that shows the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed for May 2011 recorded an increase of 3,3% compared to the previous month and reached 28.375 persons. |
