Whetstone Wanderers Under 12 Lions

From L/R Cypriot origin boys Alexander Nicolaides, Andy Georgiou (Captain) and James Pitsielis showing off the Watford Friendly League Under 12 Championship Shield after the Whetstone Wanderers Presentation Day on Sunday, where all the team were presented with their League trophies by ex Whetstone Wanderer and now Barnet F.C’s, Mauro Vilhete.

Andy and James were also part of last season’s highly successful Lions that won the under 11 championship. Alexander joined the team this season having previously played with Andy and James for another club. Alexander also picked up this season’s ‘Coaches Player of the Year Award’. The boys enjoy playing their football for Whetstone Wanderers where all boys are encouraged to develop their football abilities, whilst also been given time to learn new skills, within a positive, safe and healthy, environment.

All three boys along with their team mates are looking forward to the new season as under 13’s, which their hope will be as successful as the last 2 years, but safe in the knowledge that their football education will be delivered by qualified and experienced coaches committed to the development of ALL the players for the good of the team.
