SIX people were taken to hospital on Saturday evening after a head-on collision between two cars.

The accident occurred at 10.30pm in Stagg Hill when a red Volvo S40 and a grey Volkswagen Polo, travelling in opposite directions, collided. Six people from the two cars, aged between 17 and 76, were all taken to Chase Farm Hospital in The Ridgeway, Enfield, with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

PC Ben Harper, from Herts Police’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was in the Stagg Hill area, between Potters Bar and Cockfosters, around the time of the incident. Your information could be vital in investigating how the collision occurred.”
