The Cup fever really hit Wadham Lodge today, the weather held out with warm weather. The first game AEL v KLN got off to a good start when Aresti scored the first goal for AEL within five minutes , Rakim added a second in the 33rd minute . KLN were able to get a goal back in the 40th minute with a strike from Alex Kyriakides. AEL had a player sent off to go into the break with ten men .
The second half KLN desperately tried to get back into the game they hit the woodwork twice but AEL were able to get a third goal in the 80th minute to tie up the game at 3-1. AEL now go into the Division 1 Cup final with Omonia to be played next Sunday.
