Peter Andre has revealed that he wants to be a presenter on The X Factor, rather than a judge.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ popstar has previously been linked to the Australian version of the ITV1 reality show. However, speaking at the launch of his Next Chapter ITV2 show, Andre said that he would love to take Dermot O’Leary’s job as the host of the UK edition.

“My dream job on The X Factor wouldn’t be as a judge, which is maybe what Cheryl [Cole] is doing. My dream job is doing something like what Dermot O’Leary is doing,” he told DS.

“I would love to do that. So involved in the music, but more on the presenting side.”
