D.O.B 12.09.1945-D.O.D 16.09.2020

Eleni Constantinou, affectionately known to her family and friends as “Lella”, passed away on Wednesday 16th September 2020, aged 75. She was born in Kampia, Cyprus, into the Kleanthous family, on the 12th April 1945. At the age of 15, she travelled to the UK from Cyprus to start a new life with her parents and siblings. Alongside her brothers, she established Lella & Bros clothing manufacturers, still in operation today. She leaves behind her husband Bambos, two children, George and Natasha, and four grandchildren, who she loved wholeheartedly. Lella’s elegance and strength will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.

The funeral will take place on the 5th October, and those whose lives she touched are welcome to attend New Southgate cemetery at 11am, to pay their respects. Please remember to adhere to social distancing

Η Ελένη Κωνσταντίνου, γνωστή  στην οικογένεια και φίλους ως «Λέλλα», απεβίωσε την Τετάρτη 16 Σεπτεμβρίου 2020, σε ηλικία 75 ετών. Γεννήθηκε στην Καμπιά της Κύπρου στις 12 Απριλίου 1945, είναι απόγονος της οικογένεια Κλεάνθους. Σε ηλικία 15 ετών, ταξίδεψε στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο για να ξεκινήσει μια νέα ζωή με τους γονείς και τα αδέλφια της.  Μαζί με τα αδέρφια της, ίδρυσε την γνωστή εταιρία ενδυματό-βιομηχανίας   Lella & Bros, που εξακολουθεί να λειτουργεί μέχρι σήμερα. Αφήνει πίσω τον σύζυγο της  Πάμπο, τα δύο παιδιά της, Γιώργο και Νατάσα και τέσσερα εγγόνια, τα οποία αγαπούσε ολόψυχα. Η κομψότητα και η δυναμικότητα της Λέλλα θα  λείψει πολύ σε όλους εκείνους που την γνώριζαν και την αγάπησαν.

Η κηδεία θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 5 Οκτωβρίου και  για όλους εκείνους που την γνώρισα και θέλουν να την τιμήσουν,  είναι ευπρόσδεκτοι να παρευρεθούν στο κοιμητήριο του New Southgate στις 11 π.μ., τηρώντας πάντοτε τους κανόνες κοινωνικής απόστασης.
