Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued an orange warning for extreme high temperatures on Friday.
The warning is valid from 1200 local time until 1700.

The maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 43 degrees Celsius inland and to around 34 over the hgh mountain areas.
Public is advised to be aware that high temperatures are expected and some health risks amongst vulnerable people e.g. the elderly and very young are possible.
