Cyprus Department of Meteorology issued on Saturday afternoon a Yellow Warning for extreme high temperature from 2200 Saturday until 1700 Sunday.

According to the Warning, the maximum temperature today “is expected to be around 41 degrees celcius over the inland areas, around 37 degrees celsius over the west an north coast and around 32 degrees celcius over the mountains.”

It is furthermore noted that some health risks amongst vulnerable people e.g. the elderly and very young are possible.
