Nikos Pallikarou from Bedford his grandparents from Gypsou and Lefkara loved to dance Ziembekiko in the family taverna and then started to watch Strictly come dancing, he loved it so much that he took up Ballroom and Latin dancing at the age of 7.
From a hobby it soon became a way of life he trains 5-6 times a week with Cha cha school of dance and Kristina Rihanoff from strictly.
He competes weekly around the country and sometimes internationally (before coronavirus pandemic) and regularly makes podiums and wins. He has a partner called Amelia from Italy.
Most recently they became the vice champions in Ballroom and Latin at the iconic Blackpool tower ballroom.
