Parikiaki Newspaper sadly announce that after contacting local hospitals, funeral directors and death announcements that have come to the newspaper we can confirm that over 50 UK Cypriots have died from coronavirus and over a 100 have contacted coronavirus and several are in hospital.

Global cases approach 1.3m and death toll nears 70,000

The number of cases worldwide was just shy of 1.275m, as deaths reached 69,479. The US has more than 337,000 confirmed cases and more than 9,600 deaths, and the UK has more than 48,000 cases and 4,943 deaths. In Cyprus 465 confirmed and 9 deaths and in Greece 79 people have died.
