A number of repatriation flights are scheduled to operate in the next few days, mainly from the UK and Greece, the Ministries of Transport and Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday.

The flights will carry back to Cyprus people who belong to vulnerable groups, students enrolled in foundation courses and first year students living in dormitories, people who registered in the online platform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs their wish to return to Cyprus by April 30, as well as certificate holders in line with the relevant decrees.

There will be flights from London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Athens and Thessaloniki, among other cities. Flights from other airports may be added later, if the need arises.

In line with the procedure, airliners will contact passengers to inform them about their flight details, the announcement concludes.
