Medical supplies arrived from China on Saturday on a special flight, heading for hospitals throughout Cyprus.

The Aegean aircraft landed around 2000. The Aegean aircraft transported seven tonnes of medical supplies ordered by the Ministry of Health which included surgical masks, gowns and eye gear as well as 12 ventilators.

A new quantity of medical supplies is expected to arrive from China on Thursday.
 
The flight has been offered to the Republic of Cyprus by Aegean in cooperation with Hellenic Petroleum.
 
The Cyprus government has already thanked the two companies for their contribution.
