Apollon upset last week’s league leaders Omonia by beating them 2-1 their goals coming from Zelaya a 28th minute penalty and a goal from Pereyra in the 76th minute and Omonia star Matt Derbyshire scoring a consolation goal in added time. This leaves Apollon in third place five points behind Omonia with a game in hand and seven points behind the new league leaders Anorthosis who beat Pafos comfortably 3-0 with their goals coming from Schilderfield and Rayo scoring two.

Apoel cruised past second from bottom in the league Ethnikos Neon Paralimniou winning 4-0 with their goals coming from Pavlovic  and one each from Efrem and De Vincenti.New Salamis who are a great form at the moment beat Ethnikos Achna 3-2 with all five goals coming in the first half and Ethnikos scoring first in the 5th minute with Markovski and then followed three goals for New Salamis from Lambot 24th minute and two from Onuegbu in the 41st and 43rd minutes before Khudobyak reduced the score for Ethnikos with a penalty to 3-2 in the last minute of the first period. Doxa Katokopias drew with AEL 2-2 where Doxa failed to hold on to their 2-0 lead after goals coming from Carlos and Lima. Two goals from AEL striker Aganovic in the 34th and 67th minute gave his side a 2-2 draw.
